Tips for a successful audition:
Come dressed with a solid shirt/blouse.
“Act” the part as much as you can.
Musicality is always a plus (emotions and word length is shown on the practice videos)
Use space (6’x6′ is the max space), unless standing in one place matches the part.
Have a selected part (or two) you’ll want to audition with. (See the link above for choices.

What you can expect:
Paperwork and a practice teleprompter (on auto loop) will be in the hallway.
Wait in the hallway until you are called in.
Teleprompter will be available during the audition.
A panel of previous “Lamb of God” participants will be there to help in the process.
Your audition time will take approximately 15 minutes.
We may give you feedback and ask you to perform it again based on the feedback. We are wanting to pull the best out of you as it best matches the feel of the “Lamb of God” production.
There will be a small platform – you are welcome to use it during your audition. (Sit, stand, walk on, walk around, etc)

What will NOT happen:
Parts will NOT be assigned during the audition. — We will not make any final decisions during the audition. You will be notified within a couple of days if you were given a part. I will also post on Facebook.com/HiyaSusieQ when all parts have been filled. The cast list can be posted on SusanLayton.com after the decisions have been made.

Other information:
The practice schedule will be posted soon. To give you an idea, the approximate schedule will be every Sunday evening for 2 hours – location will toggle between SLC and Lehi. There will be times you do not need to show up and other times you will, depending on the part. But please attend for all times that you are scheduled.

Look forward to seeing you at the “Lamb of God” auditions!

Sincerely,

Susan and the “Lamb of God” ASL cast
